I had so much fun getting to know Jake and Emily as a couple. Almost a whole year ago we did their fall engagement photos and they were just so beautiful and they were so much fun as a couple so I knew their wedding day was going to be a blast!
They chose on the millwork ballroom and event center in Dubuque Iowa as there venue it’s easily become one of my favorite places now. Dubuque being so versatile and beautiful anyways with the downtown area and the cool parks on that we were able to go to for their first look and then the industrial vibe that the millwork ballroom has it is just a dream come true for this Iowa wedding photographer!
One of my favorite moments though from the entire day besides getting to meet Emily’s cute little puppy was actually at the reception when they had done a dance with both their parents. It was really evident that Jake and Emily‘s parents both instilled amazing family value and to be able to see you just a glimpse of that as someone documenting their wedding day was so beautiful and incredible. These are parts of wedding photography that I truly truly love!
