Sentimental Small Town Iowa Wedding – KayeLea + Cameron – Fine Art Iowa Wedding Photography

For those who know KayeLea, there was no shock that her wedding dress and makeup was nothing short of Glam and Glitter! It was absolutely stunning, and 100% perfection!

The drizzly rain was no match for this day, as we had a stunning rustic and  industrial  styled venue, the Freight House in Chariton Ia!  KayeLea and Cameron shared their first look together, and then braved the rain for a few bride and groom portraits outside!

Later that day, KayeLea had planned to have an additional first look with her younger brother, who was to walk her down the aisle along with her sister. (Think father – daughter first look.) Little did she know her sister Erica, who has recently joined the Navy would soon join that first look!  KayeLeas family had convinced her that she was unable to take time off to make it to the wedding, so when she saw her she just burst into tears! It was a really moving moment and there wasn’t a dry eye!

The ceremony was just as touching, KayeLea’s foster mom was the one to marry her and Cameron. She shared the story of the day she meet KayeLea, Kelcy and Jayden.

The toasts, first dances, and additional speeches showed just how much these two are loved.

KayeLea, I know I wouldn’t have been able to even speak at your wedding without bawling, so I will write my speech here.

I am so proud of you! I am proud of all the hurt, pain and obstacles you have overcome. I know that this line can sound cliché, but its the truth.  You took a scary, painful childhood, and turned into an honest, hard working beautiful woman. You are raising your daughter with love and stability. You got married yesterday to such a great guy, who loves you and your little girl so very much.  You have both chosen to wake up everyday, and regardless of how you feel, you still choose each other.  That is a real love.

I am so happy to have you as one of my closest friends. Two years ago, I really didn’t have any friends who lived in the Des Moines area, moving 1.5 hours away from any of my girl friends made me really sad. Then, we go together and started to hang out, play with makeup and you started to second shoot with me, and now we have a friendship that a cherish so much!  I love our Chinese buffet dates, and checking out Sephora, and Target!

I love ya girl!
