I wanted to do a recap on a wedding I shot In March this past year, I have re done my website since then but I wanted you all to see this beautiful wedding! One of the best parts of being a Des Moines wedding  photographer is there are so many beautiful locations! This wedding venue was located at The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden Center and it was a beauty!! It was chilly and overcast on the day of the wedding but you would have never guessed it! Inside the garden was a balmy 80 degrees and had a tropical get away vibe! This wedding venue is a good option for brides who want an outdoor look without the stress of planing for unpredictable weather!

Joella’s dress was so beautiful! I loved the lace details and the long sleeves, it gives such a romantic feel!  I loved the blue bridesmaids dresses, they really popped against the lush greenery of the garden!

The first look was tucked back into a cute room where they were able to share a quick intimate moment then take some portraits. I love the green house vibe this little nook the botanical garden has!

I hope you enjoy looking through these photos! Iowa has so many wonderful locations and venues for a bride to choose from, Im sure all Des Moines Wedding Photographers feel lucky to have these venues as well. I know I am! I cant wait for the 2017 wedding season!
