Back in May, a few local wedding vendors and I put together a styled shoot, and it was a really great experience! It started with meeting Katie, from August Wolf Floral Design and we both agreed it would be fun to collaborate on a shoot together! We gathered together some more amazing vendors and created a beautiful shoot to inspire our local brides!!
I am sooo excited to say this shoot got picked up by Chic Vintage Brides and you can see the post the featured here!! https://chicvintagebrides.com/delicate-blush-garden-wedding-inspiration/
We were inspired by our venue Rollins Mansion, and its ability to create a french cottage feel, with our lace gown, and floral arrangement. We wanted the key elements to be simple and effortless.
We imagined a girl, getting married on her parents estate, putting on some simple makeup with loose curls, going out to pick the best blooms from her mother’s garden. We then did a second look with a more modern but still romantic twist. A satin gown, blunt bangs and a bob haircut with a darker bold lip.
The flowers are beautiful long stems of greenery, along with some light peachy David Austin roses, french tulips and Moonrise Peonies.
The cake was a light peachy pink, with gold painted edging and cracks, adorned with some greenery and two roses.
The sweetheart table was a simple setup, with a ruffled table runner. Candle sticks, greenery were used to surround the cake and centerpiece.”
