Tablescapes are probably the biggest reception detail brides will spend hours thinking about! They are the biggest eye catcher in your reception and the perfect way to incorporate your wedding colors!
Chances are that your venue will have tables, chairs and white table cloths available for you to use! Now this tip is something you might not think would be a total game changer but it 100% is. No matter how simple or elaborate your tablescape is, having good and chairs and wrinkle/crease free table cloths will make or break your tablescapes. Making sure to have the “fancy chairs” or chair covers will really elevate the entire look of your reception. Every, time. And nothing makes me more sad then when venues put out creasy table cloths, request they steam them, or appoint someone to make sure this happens.
Florals are always so beautiful on tables. If you are wanting to have some really beautiful tables, consider having a harvest table, and your family tables decorated more elaborately and then keep the other tables more simple. As your photographer, I will focus the bulk on your table, you will have amazing photos, and still keep the wow factor without having to deck out every table!
Don’t want to DIY? I totally feel ya, a wedding planner can really help with this! These are two of my favorites who I know love all the little details!

If you do want to DIY the layout of your tables, amazon and Etsy is going to be your friend!!! One of my favorite things to do is to lay out a long chiffon like linen in the center of a table, and spread out tall candle sticks, and greenery. (Greenery is more cost effective with florists while also adding some life and texture to your table!)
