Hi There!!!

I’m Kirstie! A wife to my husband Todd, a dog mom to my mini dachshunds Ellie, and Link and I am an Iowa wedding photographer located in the Des Moines area!

I really feel like it’s my calling to serve my couples during this time of being engaged and being excited but also it can be a time where you’re overwhelmed when you’re not really sure what would work best for certain scenarios. Maybe it’s when you don’t know what to do with the timeline, or you want to know how to utilize the most from photography, that’s where I really like to help be no of service and aid to my couples.

My wedding style can be described as joyful romantic and sentimental. Basically I’m looking for the joyful moments on a wedding day with couples to embracing each other and even with their parents and their friends . Romantic really embraces the artistic side of my work, where I can pose a bit more and really create beautiful portraits and get amazing detail shots.  I love when my brides are sentimental! Putting those sentimental items in with their wedding day. For example one time I had a bride actually used her fiance’s grandmother’s wedding dress and the grandma came and had a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress and had the bride do a twirl and stated “Oh there’s those buttons that I remember!” It was so cute and was such a beautiful moment! I always love the sentiment that goes into a wedding. 🙂

I am excited to say that I am now on YouTube!!! I wanted to create a short video to let you guys know a little bit about me, my photography business and my couples that I love and maybe even show you my puppies!

I plan on creating some more video content for you brides to be! I know that I personally love listening to vides on certain interests and information so I wanted to help create this source for you too! As an Iowa wedding photographer, my goal is to help make your photography experience and the wedding day as a whole go super smooth.
